  Participants are hand picked and put through a rigorous two year 500+ hour course that creates award winning instructors.  This course will certify you as a professional instructor under David Neal Brown’s lineage and is the equivalent to an AA degree. It will set you up for a career as one of Total Confidence Martial Art’s elite instructors qualified to work at our Academy.  This in depth course covers all aspects of teaching and classroom management. 

Curriculum includes:

Inner Circle Teaching:  Some skills can only be passed from Master to disciple.  Inner circle teachings are the secrets that have made us great.   Master Brown has had the good fortune to learn from some of the best Master instructors and fighters in the art of Muay Thai.  In his over thirty year career in martial arts he has become known as an innovator.  The very small details that slip past the average instructor make all the difference in the world.  You will learn the art of Muay Thai in depth and completely.  This will give you a foundation to create champions and outstanding students in Muay Thai.

Professionalism:  Do you want to be successful in business and in life?  Learning the secrets of professional interaction will not only take you to the next level, it will also enhance your credibility in your community.  We will teach you the subtle art of building rapport with students and help you to be more effective in all your interactions.  We will help you become an outstanding professional working in a highly professional environment.

Safety:  The quickest way to lose a student is to allow them to get injured.  The quickest way to have your academy closed down is to have a student get injured due to negligence.  We will teach you the right way to protect your students from injury.  You will also learn the proper way to treat an injury as well as how to follow up should one occur.  This course includes CPR/ first aid certification and the sport science behind treating martial arts injuries. 

The Structure of Learning and the Art of Teaching:  Learning takes place in both the brain and the body.  When you understand the different ways that people learn you can communicate any idea.  Teaching is both a science and an art and it is one of the most valuable skills you can acquire.  Being able to teach means you will have an advantage in any human interaction and it insures that you will have a wonderful career in the martial arts beyond being a competitor. 
               

Real Muay Thai white-black belt:  The TCMA Muay Thai system is laid out in a very clear fashion allowing you to repeat our success.  Always forward thinking, we have been able to create a sound ranking system that logically divides the classroom by skill levels.  We will teach you the progression that has made excellent Muay Thai students for more decades.

The Art of Pad Work:  Feeding people pad work is an art.  Done wrong it can be dangerous to you and the student.  Done wrong it can also destroy a student’s technique and ruin their chances of becoming a champiom.  We will teach you how to use the pads to bring out the best technique in the student and to protect yourself from the punishing blows at the same time.

Bomber Bag Work:  Few people know how to use the bag properly.  We have an innovative series of drills that utilize the rhythm of the bag to get the right technique every time.  Not only that, our drills are so exciting it will keep students training harder and longer.

Teaching Children:  Children are developmentally different than adults and have different needs.  We will teach you the stages of human development and the most efficient strategies for engaging each age level.  With this important skill set you will be able to influence and guide children to becoming effective, successful adults.
